Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary
Perform a wide variety of duties specific to handling sales calls with customers and vendors. Pay close attention to detail. Deal with customers effectively. Work harmoniously with other employees, giving the assistance necessary to satisfy customer’s needs.
Qualifications
Preferred minimum level of education: high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in sales and/or purchasing and customer service, as well as basic knowledge of electrical apparatus, are desirable.

Expanded Duties
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Forecasts sales activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Assists with sales training and works with inside and outside salesmen to improve their knowledge of service related issues and to help maximize their opportunities with customers. Promptly investigates and either assists or directly resolves customer complaints. Company policy requires complete satisfaction to the customer in every case where the complaint is legitimate and justified. Researches new potential markets to direct efforts toward services that meet or exceed our profit plan. Continuously gains a working knowledge of competing products, services, and companies. Creates and maintains strong communication between sales, production, and the customer. Prepares and presents annual sales budget for large rotating equipment. Machine Shop Supervisor
Job Summary
Supervise all work performed by machinists. Perform machine and tool work on various mechanical assemblies.
Qualifications
Preferred minimum level of education/experience: high school diploma, plus five years of experience in all phases of machine work and one year of supervisory experience.

Ability to foster good employee/supervisor relations and build team effort. Ability to promote strong company image with customers and vendors.
Physical Abilities

Expanded Duties
Perform the same machine work as machinists. Produce special drawings/illustrations to assist machinists in the department. Sign off on weekly employee time. Meet with manufacturers’ representatives concerning department materials and equipment. Test manufacturers’ materials for suitability and serviceability. Requisition equipment, supplies, and tools for Machine Department through Shop Lead Supervisor.
Complete all repair quotes for repair times. Check all repair data gathered by technicians and helpers. Schedule and prioritize all work to be performed by Machine Department, including starting times for personnel. Comply with all company memos and distribute appropriate information to department personnel. Help supervised employees understand and observe company rules and regulations, including proper safety procedures. Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (PPE); especially eye and ear protection. Direct department personnel and other service center personnel in proper safety procedures. Confer with other shop supervisors and office personnel to coordinate smooth work flow.
Conduct employee performance reviews for department personnel. Carry out disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy. Confer with Lead Supervisor/Shop Superintendent on matters as deemed necessary. Direct machinists in proper maintenance of Machine Department. Make sure that the proper tools and necessary equipment are available and in good condition to perform the required work efficiently. Assure that all completed work meets EASA AR100 and other quality-control criteria required by the company. Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by Lead Supervisor/Shop Superintendent.
Perform outside field service repair or estimating work.
Machinist

Set up and perform tool-post grinding operations (e.g., precision surface facing), broaching procedures, and babbitt bearing work. Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to: band saws, belt sanders, hand grinders, files, etc.
Lift, tighten, adjust, and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work and/or to observe safety precautions. Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (especially eye and ear protection). Keep work area neat and clean as directed by supervisor. Assist other machinists in department with skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor or service center manager. Field Service Technician - Shreveport, La
Job purpose
Primarily responsible for providing customer on-site diagnosis, maintenance, repair, installation, and/or removal of complex electromechanical motors and equipment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Be able to assess the condition of the motor and if repairs can be performed in the field or if equipment needs to be pulled.
- Analyze motors and equipment in order to troubleshoot issues.
- Working knowledge of AC and DC motors.
- Vibration experience and certification preferred
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
- Maintain pro-active and open communication with all team members.
- Hands on experience with electric motors

This position will have varying working condition, as some days will entail driving only jobs and others will require working in the shop. Inclement weather maybe a factor as well as other unforeseen working conditions. The potential exists to operate the vehicle in a variety of surroundings, including city, highway and gravel roads for extended distances between destinations.

Job Summary: Repair various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment.
Work Performed:
- Read job cards to determine: job status, work authorizations/limitations, estimate, description of problems, and/ or expected serviceability.
- Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods (ac or dc).
- Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition.
- Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to: parts washers/ steamers, caustic tanks, glass beaders, etc.
- Measure for or note proper replacement parts. Correctly requisition needed items from storekeeper, as approved by supervisor.

CDL Driver – Lake Charles, LA
Etheredge Industrial Services is a complete service facility, providing repairs, rewinding and upgrading of AC and DC electric motors of all makes and sizes.
We are looking for an experienced Flatbed CDL Driver with 5 to 7 years of professional driving experience to transport goods and materials safety and efficiently using flatbed trailers. All flatbed truck drivers must have a clean driving record and a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Drivers must be flexible regarding work hours and able to work weekends and holidays.
Flatbed truck drivers must have the physical capabilities required to drive a truck for long periods of time and tie down their loads properly.
Responsibilities
· Must tie their loads down to their trucks. This must be done properly to ensure safe transportation.
· Plan your driving routes using maps or GPS tracking to meet delivery deadlines, considering traffic and weather conditions.
· Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials, and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
· Drivers must keep a detailed log of travel time, mileage, fuel consumption, and sleep hours to document that they have complied with the regulations set in place by the Department of Transportation.
· Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
· Inspect their trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
· Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
· Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
· Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
· Take rest periods during trip.
· Take special precautions while driving.
Respond promptly to call in requests outside of traditional work schedule. This could include nighttime calls as well as calls occurring before or after your scheduled work hours.
